The price on the page is the total you pay, VAT included, and it is the same either way. Lemon Squeezy sells RepDB as merchant of record: with a valid EU VAT ID the sale is reverse-charged and the invoice shows 0% VAT; without one, the applicable VAT is already inside that same total. Entering your VAT number changes the invoice, not the amount charged.

Yes — both Starter and Standard include commercial use. Standard adds transparent classic images, classic-style animations, and AI embeddings.

White-label means using the dataset and images in a product presented under a client’s or another company’s brand. It is a licensing and branding term, not a watermark feature: the supplied images do not contain a RepDB watermark. Your own product under your own brand is covered by Standard; third-party branded deployments require Custom.

Yes. Resize and compress them, serve them from your own CDN, bundle them with your app, cache them offline — that is ordinary use of what you licensed. The only limit is bulk redistribution: no public archive of the bundle, open bucket, or bulk-download endpoint acting as a proxy for the dataset.

Yes. Standard includes transparent WebP animations that work as theme-independent master assets: place the same file over light, dark, gradient, or custom backgrounds. If your app has one fixed background, composite it and export an MP4 for a smaller delivery file — while keeping the WebP as your master.

AI embeddings are numeric vectors that capture semantic meaning, so you can search for similar exercises or match natural-language queries. Ours were generated with Google’s gemini-embedding-001 model using 768 dimensions and the SEMANTIC_SIMILARITY task type.

Because we count movements, not catalog rows. Big lists inflate the number with duplicate entries, (male)/(female) versions of the same movement, and multiple camera angles of the same squat. RepDB ships 608 distinct, fully illustrated movements — roughly the catalog size the most popular workout trackers run in production. Because there is nothing to animate. Static holds, poses and stretches — plank, dead hang, wall sit, pigeon stretch — have no repetition cycle; a looping clip would be a frozen frame. Those ship as a single still on purpose, and the data flags them (animation: false, force_type: static). Every exercise with an actual movement has a looping clip. It is a property of the exercise, not a gap we still have to fill.

Yes. Every exercise in the bundle has German and Spanish translations for names, descriptions, instructions, and tips.

Yes. Keep the RepDB ids and add your own locale fields — French, Dutch, Japanese, whatever your market needs; keeping the ids also keeps you compatible with future updates. English, German and Spanish ship in the bundle.

The version you buy is yours to keep with no time limit. We currently update the bundle from time to time, and when a new version is released it is available to existing customers through their order link. We do not publish a fixed roadmap or promise a particular number of new exercises: we focus on the practical coverage most users and trainers need, rather than inflating the catalogue with obscure or redundant movements. Future content expansions, new editions or major versions may be offered separately.
